This workshop explores the connections between the protection and extension of human rights for all and the creation of a more just, and thus safer, place for all of us. It considers a comprehensive definition of security that extends beyond physical safety through military operations and discusses what types of policies expand or erode our security and what we can do to weave a stronger security net.
