Location: UMass Student Center Ballroom, 3rd Floor
University of Massachusetts Boston – 100 Morrissey Blvd., Boston, MA 02125. The facility is handicap accessible.
Transportation and Parking: Parking is available in the garage underneath the Campus Center, as well as in the surrounding areas of the campus, such as Lot D and the parking garage at Mount Vernon Street. The parking at UMass Boston is $6/day. Please review this link to find out the exact location of each and other information.
Free Shuttle Service to the Student Center is available from the MBTA Red Line JFK/UMass Boston stop.
Registration and Guest List: Upon arrival, go to the 3rd floor of the Campus Center to sign-in at the registration table. Guests registered for the evening celebration will receive a name tag. Please note: If you registered for multiple tickets — for either the panel or the evening celebration — but did not provide your guest name(s), please click this link and add the name of your guest, and their interpretation needs.
- Registration for the panel opens at 4:00 p.m.
- Registration for the evening celebration opens at 6:00 p.m.
Interpretation: To provide maximum participation and respect the linguistic and cultural diversity of our panelists, we will provide interpretation equipment for the panel for non-bilingual (English/Spanish) guests. If you will need equipment — i.e. if you do not understand both Spanish and English — please respond here, same link as above.
- Panel: Saturday, October 20. Doors open at 4 p.m., panel starts promptly at 4:30 p.m. NOTE: The panel is free, but registration is required. If you have not done so already, please register here.
- Party: Saturday, October 20. Registration, hors d’oeuvres and bar open at 6 p.m., Program at 7 p.m. NOTE: Tickets are available for purchase until Friday, 2 pm EDT here. After that, tickets must be purchased at the venue.
