Voices from the Via: Attendees from International Conference Share Thoughts

Over 450 small farmers, Indigenous people and allies descended on Derio – a quiet town in the Biscay province of the Basque country – from July 19-24, 2017, for the VIIth International Conference of La Via Campesina. The conference is held every four years and is the highest and most significant decision-making space of Grassroots International’s global partner La Via Campesina (the world’s largest peasant movement). Grassroots International was honored to be there and gathered some of our partners’ perspectives and thoughts about the conference and their work in the below photo blog.
