Hendrix Berry is an Organizing Committee member of the Massachusetts Solidarity Economy Network and Director of Obran Capital at Obran Cooperative. Hendrix is motivated by questions of infrastructure building for a more democratic and regenerative economy. She is a founding member of the Boston Ujima Project and has had the opportunity to work in both traditional and innovative community economic development settings. Hendrix calls Boston home, but grew up in rural woodland and farmland of western Massachusetts. Outside of work and organizing, Hendrix raises meat rabbits, plays bluegrass music with friends, goes on bike trips and co-stewards an apartment building in Jamaica Plain. Other affiliations include US Solidarity Economy Network board member and Rozzie Bound Coop steering committee member.
