As we look toward 2025, we know there are serious crises ahead, and we are ready to confront them, with our minds and hearts committed to the ultimate goal of liberation.

We are working to:

• Mobilize resources to support the transformational work of our partners in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, West Africa, and here on Turtle Island in the United States;
• Support expansion of on-the-ground solutions, like feminist-led cooperatives, roof-top gardens, eco-villages, peasant-to-peasant learning exchanges, and more;
• Build alignment with donors around the praxis of Solidarity Philanthropy for wealth redistribution centered on internationalism and long-term accompaniment of our movement partners; and
• Build support for historic social movement processes, such as the Nyéléni Global Forum to advance food sovereignty by and for peasants, fisherfolk, pastoralists, Indigenous Peoples, feminist groups, and other frontline movements.

In 2024, Grassroots awarded more grants than ever in its history, and is on track to distribute approximately $10M to support social movements globally.
