KiyomiFujikawa

Kiyomi joined Grassroots International as the Managing Director of Donor Engagement in 2025. She has been involved with feminist movements for intersectional social justice since 2001. Before joining Grassroots International, Kiyomi was an Executive Co-Director at Third Wave Fund, an activist fund for youth-led, intersectional gender justice movements, from 2018-2024. She has also held staff roles at Borealis Philanthropy (the Fund for Trans Generations) and API Chaya.

She is a current board member with Funders for Reproductive Equity, and a former board member of Funders Concerned About AIDS, Groundswell Fund, and API Chaya. She’s based on unceded Coast Salish territories (Seattle, WA), and has immense love for women’s basketball, speculative fiction, live music, and theater.
