Senior Solidarity Program Officer – US Internationalist Program

Trina Jackson is the Senior Solidarity Program Officer for the US Internationalist Program at Grassroots International. She works to support and link environmental justice and social justice movements in the United States with movements in the Global South. Trina coordinates the Martín-Baró Initiative for Wellbeing and Human Rights at Grassroots International.

In her work, Trina integrates a Black feminist, anti-imperialist analysis grounded in Black liberation, love, land, culture, healing, and reparations, which bring about social transformation and emancipated futures.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Goddard College and a Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) from Tufts University’s Urban and Environmental Policy program. Her passions include writing, traveling, photography, and yoga. She lives and works in Boston.
