Hendrix Berry es miembro del Comité Organizador de la Red de Economía Solidaria de Massachusetts y directora de Obran Capital de la Obran Cooperative. A Hendrix le interesan las cuestiones relativas a la construcción de infraestructura para una economía más democrática y regenerativa. Es miembro fundadora del Boston Ujima Project y ha tenido la oportunidad de trabajar en proyectos dedicados al desarrollo económico comunitario, tanto tradicionales como innovadores. Hendrix ha hecho de Boston su hogar, pero creció en los bosques y granjas rurales del oeste de Massachusetts. Además de su trabajo y su labor organizadora, Hendrix cría conejos para la obtención de carne, toca música bluegrass con sus amistades, hace excursiones en bicicleta y es coadministradora de un edificio de apartamentos en Jamaica Plain.
