Grassroots International Welcomes Interim Executive Director
Grassroots International welcomes Gisele M. Michel as its Interim Executive Director.
Gisele brings 25 years of experience in strategic management and communication, organizational development, program promotion, community, and external relations, as well as hands-on success as an Interim Director. As founder and president of Icatalyst Consulting, a full service management consulting firm, she has helped organizations through successful leadership transitions including as an Interim Executive Director. She is also a member of the Executive Transition Practice of Third Sector New England. Gisele is a multilingual, multicultural professional with a longstanding commitment to social justice issues as well as expertise in executive and leadership coaching, capacity building, and mediation and conflict resolution. She has an undergraduate degree in international relations from George Washington University and a master’s degree with a concentration in East European studies and political economy from the University of Pittsburgh. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Haiti Fund at the Boston Foundation. Gisele will work part-time at Grassroots International, overlapping with outgoing Executive Director Nikhil Aziz.
