Grassroots Receives Top Ratings from Charity Watchdogs
Grassroots International is excited to announce that we have earned across-the-board top ratings from Charity Navigator, America’s leading independent charity evaluator, as well as the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance Standards Charity Seal.
These distinctions, the highest issued by those organizations, recognize Grassroots as a top performer among non-profit organizations. The Better Business Bureau is a well-known and highly respected monitor of business practices, while Charity Navigator is a widely relied-upon source of information for potential donors, providing objective evaluations of the financial health of U.S. non-profits.
Grassroots International and its peer organizations are rated on the basis of a wide range of criteria which measure organizational effectiveness, financial accountability and adherence to ethical standards.
You’ve known for a while that Grassroots is a leader in the field of international development and human rights. That’s why you’ve supported our work in the past. Now your judgment has been validated by both the Better Business Bureau and Charity Navigator.
Why not mark this important moment with an additional contribution to Grassroots?
Organizations which receive Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating or the BBB’s Charity Seal are recognized for exceeding industry standards and outperforming most charities working in the same issue area.”This is a real milestone,” says Daniel Moss, Grassroot’s Director of Development. “We’re pleased that the hard work we’ve put in to building and running a dynamic organization that really puts donor dollars to good use is being recognized with these prestigious ratings.”
