Enlace Civil (Conexão Civil)
A Enlace Civil (Conexão Civil) foi fundada em 1996 a pedido das comunidades indígenas de Chiapas, no México para dar voz às necessidades do movimento indígena autônomo nesse estado mexicano.
A organização Enlace Civil não oferece projetos às comunidades. Em vez disso, ela leva as demandas da comunidade, fazendo uma ponte com outras regiões do México e com a comunidade internacional. Assim constrói a solidariedade com os povos indígenas de Chiapas enquanto estes avançam rumo ao lekil kuxlejal – também conhecido como “bem viver” –, uma visão de mundo indígena sobre a vida em harmonia com a Mãe Terra.
Os focos principais da Enlace Civil são a disseminação de informação sobre as comunidades indígenas de Chiapas; a mobilização de apoio nacional e internacional ao desenvolvimento das comunidades indígenas autônomas de Chiapas segundo as necessidades e critérios propostos pelos próprios povos; e acompanhar as ações e projetos da comunidade em sua luta por condições de vida mais justas e democráticas. Os projetos que a Enlace Civil apoia atualmente envolvem a educação, a atenção à saúde, a agroecologia, a produção e o marketing.
