Raji Sourani, director of Grassroots International partner the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, spoke to Democracy Now! on April 2, 2018, about the “Great March of Return” protests in Gaza and the aggression and response by the Israeli military. “They want to push us for one thing: to give up, to be good victims. Never, ever we will give up. And we will continue the fight for our freedom, for our dignity, for our people, for our right to be free, to have an end for this criminal occupation, in its 50th anniversary,” said Raji.
