In early May, small-scale farmers traveled from all over Brazil to bring their goods to the second National Fair of Agrarian Reform in São Paulo organized by Grassroots International Partner the Landless Workers Movement (MST). According to organizers, 170,000 people attended the fair, outshining the success of the first fair in 2015. All participating farmers were members of the MST, bringing fruits and vegetables produced on MST settlements and encampments. The public came to purchase healthy food grown sustainably without pesticides, to enjoy the music and entertainment, and to support the MST.
